This guide is a living project, not a book printed once and left on a shelf. The mountains are always changing–shuttle schedules are updated, new information becomes available, and I’m always finding new details to share.

This page is a simple log of those changes, so you can be confident that the advice here is as fresh and accurate as I can make it.

Recent Notes & Changes

Here are some of the most recent updates I’ve made to the guide.

October 2025

  • This Week’s Progress: Made some solid progress this week–added a few new features, squashed some bugs, and yes, broke a thing or two along the way (that’s how we learn, right?). The books are now fully integrated and available for download. Also wrapped up some UI refinements and got the PWA functionality working smoothly. Always tinkering to make this guide better!
  • E-Books Available! The automated process is complete and both EPUB and PDF versions of the entire guide are now available for free download. Perfect for offline reading when you’re deep in the backcountry!
  • Header & Navigation Improvements: Completely redesigned the mobile and desktop navigation experience. Mobile users now have better close functionality and improved search, while desktop users get a more polished, modern interface.
  • Auto Theme Support: Added automatic theme detection that follows your system preferences, plus improved footer controls with better accessibility and visual feedback.
  • A Complete Rewrite: This marks the third major rewrite of the guide. I’ve been striving for perfection, so I’ve rebuilt everything from the content you read to the technology that serves it. Hopefully not too many more rewrites are in my future!

My goal is for this to be a guide you can trust. If you ever spot something that seems out of date, please don’t hesitate to scribble me a note.
